Came across the LuxWoodPatio stand just as we were leaving the RHS Malvern Show and we’re so glad we did. We weren’t looking to buy garden furniture but the Adirondack chairs were pretty irresistible having taken the red chair photo opportunities while on holiday in Canada. Then we started talking to Tony and Meryl and realised how robust the chairs are, backed by their own personal experience from living in Canada. Their service was excellent throughout, up to and beyond the delivery of the chairs personally by Tony and Meryl. The chairs look great and will stay out all year rather than having to be stored away over winter as our previous wooden furniture was. Excellent service to go with excellent furniture.

As an American who grew up sitting in Adirondack chairs growing up, I was delighted to find these hardy and sustainable versions. Time will tell how they weather the elements, but they look nice, are comfortable, and they have two benefits that the traditional models do not: (a) they fold and (b) they are slightly more upright so are easier to get up and out of. The service was impeccable – the team was very helpful and communicative. I would definitely buy from them again.

I’ve fancied some Adirondack chairs for some time but my husband wasn’t convinced until he sat in one of these at the RHS Malvern Spring Show and didn’t want to get up again. They are incredibly comfortable, and we love that they are made out of recycled plastic so they look and feel great and will last a lifetime. Just bought 2 x Folding Adirondack Chair in Brazilian Walnut (that are actually made of resin so never rot, can leave out all year round etc) and I have to say they are even better than I hoped! You literally an hardly tell they aren’t real wood, plus they’re also really comfortable – amazing! Lux Woods service is also second to none – they insisted on carrying them through my house to set them up in my back garden – if only all companies were this helpful hey!

We just bought 2 chairs, which amazingly were delivered the very next day. Can’t thank Tony & Meryl enough. Super service, super chairs, which are not only gorgeous to look at but very comfortable. We are already thinking of adding 2 more to our collection.

What a total delight to ‘stumble’ upon a company online and have every expectation exceeded.

Not only were we delighted to find garden chairs made out of recycled plastic, thus able to live ‘in situ’ and needing minimal maintenance, but to then find the reality just as good, if not better than, the pictures on line.

Further delight when the phone goes within minutes of the order being sent ‘into the ether’, with Meryl asking “if it would be ok to deliver them the next morning” (Saturday!!).

It quickly became obvious that this was a two person operation and the level of customer service was truely personal and exceptional. Our only disappointment was that we were at Park Run so could not meet Tony and Meryl on delivery, but the chairs were left exactly where requested without disturbing our dog sitter.

Bought two chairs four years ago and they are still immaculate. So I’ve just posted an update of my Google Review with up to date pics and a video. My sister bought wooden garden chairs at the same time (I got the idea off her) and they haven’t lasted. We first came across these sturdy garden chairs outside the Ludlow Farm Shop a year ago. Recently, just before his birthday, my husband said he would like a garden chair to be able to sit, relax and read. He remembered the chairs we tried out at Ludlow, and I made enquiries as to the company making them. The website was simple to use, and almost as soon as I had placed my order I received a phone call asking about delivery, which was able to be arranged for delivery in time for my husband’s birthday. The seat itself (& I chose the leg rest too) is a comfortable shape, with arm rests wide enough to fit a drink and a book. The chair itself is made from recycled, solid plastic material and so there’s no way it will blow over (although moving it may require two people) I was given storage and cleaning instructions (basically, leave it in the garden all year around, wash with soapy water if needed) The best bit of the whole experience has been the customer service, if I could give 10* then I would. Efficient delivery, on time, no faffing and no packaging. Very pleased!

We are delighted with our chairs, footrests and small table. They are sturdy, well made and very low maintenance. The excellent personal service from the business owners right from first meeting at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show with delivery a couple of weeks afterwards. Made from recycled materials, the finish is really very good and the furniture is durable and solid. Pricing reflects the quality – and we’re confident that it will last and last. I bought my chairs just over a year ago but held off leaving a review as I wanted to see how they coped over the great British winter. The answer: superbly! I couldn’t recommend these chairs highly enough. They’ve been left out in the elements all year, and after a little hose-down, they’re as good as new, ready for their second summer. Still as bright and solid as the day they were delivered!
Yes, they’re a little on the pricey side, but I’m a firm believer in ‘you get what you pay for’. Trust me, these are worth every penny!

Really good quality and sturdy, and super comfy to sit in, the back angle is slightly more upright than a lot of other Adirondack chairs we have sat in before, but these are way easier to get out of! Customer service is first class and delivery is effortless. We would highly recommend.

We recently purchased 2 Folding Adirondack Chairs and 1 Folding Footrest from Meryl and Tony at LUXwood Patio to replace a traditional table and chair set for the decking area of our cabin, intended for our guests to sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.

We wanted something weather-resistant and visually appealing that would blend seamlessly with the cabin exterior—and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The chairs themselves are top-notch—sturdy, weatherproof and incredibly well-designed and fit perfectly with the aesthetic of our cabin and the surroundings. And better still no maintenance required!

They’re definitely not the cheapest version of Adirondack chairs available, but they most certainly are the best quality with a lifetime warehouse, something that none of the others come with. I emailed LuxWood Patio to express an interest in buying 3 Adirondack chairs, but mentioned that I wasn’t sure which colours to choose. Within half an hour Tony and Meryl had replied saying they could bring 5 chairs to my home the following week, for me to test for quality and comfort, and to help me decide which colours would look right in situ. No obligation to purchase, no sales pressure – if the chairs weren’t right for me, they would take them back with them.

They duly arrived as arranged, set up the chairs for me, answered a few of my questions, left me to try them and – only if I was certain the chairs were right for me – decide on which, if any, of the colours were to my liking.

I now have an orange, a lime green and an aruba blue chair in my garden, plus an orange footstool. They are excellent. They are well made, strong and solid. I’ve been looking for Adirondack chairs for a while, but these are far superior to any of the others I was considering – plus they don’t need any maintenance, they can be left outside all year round, they have a lifetime guarantee and, being made from recycled plastics, they help the environment. But, most importantly, they look great and they are very, very comfortable.

If you are considering buying Adirondack chairs do get in touch with Tony and Meryl, you won’t regret it. They are a lovely, friendly couple and they don’t put any pressure on you to buy. Frankly, they don’t have to – the chairs say it all for them.

We met Meryl at the Southport flower show when we were drawn in my the eco friendly chairs on offer.

Meryl was an absolute pleasure to meet and discuss our wants and needs for our garden furniture. There was no pressure to buy, just a nice conversation along with allowing us to try the chairs for a good while before taking the plunge and making a purchase.

It was a quick delivery, not quite 10 days if I remember correctly, and it was a pleasure to have seen them again and have a nice chat about our garden plans and general life.

We’ve not had the chance to sit on them much due to the weather, but we absolutely love them! We hope to have the garden done before Christmas, so I’ll upload photos to show the chairs off in much nicer surroundings than they’re currently in.

I recently purchased 4x Adirondack chairs + 1 side table in coastal grey from LuxWoodPatio and I’m very pleased with the items. I think they live up to the price, costing a bit more than ones you’d get from a large garden/DIY chain, but they do ooze quality. They’re quite heavy, there’s no cheap ‘n shiny nuts & bolts, maintenance-free, everything seems solid throughout. To add to this, the customer service is fantastic, Tony & Meryl go out of their way to ensure you’re happy with their products. I can’t recommend enough.

The best Adirondack Garden Furniture I have seen.

Having researched Adirondack garden furniture for a while now I was so pleased to come across Tony and Meryl and their Luxwood website.

We decided to order one chair in Mahogany and a few days later Tony and Meryl delivered it personally and placed it in our garden (on one of the hottest days this year).

They are really comfortable and so sturdy. No hesitation in leaving it out all year and made from recycled plastic.

It was a joy to experience some really good customer service. Emails were answered promptly and there was even a human being picking up telephone calls, promptly too. The chairs sounded just right for our balcony, which is exposed to some severe winds, and we are limited on storage space. Sturdy and maintenance free was just what we’d been seeking. The chairs were delivered quickly on a mutually agreed date and fully assembled- what joy! They look great. Early days so don’t know how they will weather but we’re optimistic.

I have waited a year to get these chairs, and it’s been worth the wait! The quality is far superior to anything else I’ve looked at, and I love the colour. Tony and Meryl personally delivered and set them up. So pleased, would highly recommend.

Having been delighted with the Adirondack chairs, table and foot stalls we purchased for our bolt hole in Wales we got back to think we were missing out at home. Adirondack chairs were the last thing on my mind when we visited our local Plant Centre. However, a row of blue, green and yellow chairs attracted attention and I decided to sit on one. As there were no cushions I expected it to be most uncomfortable – how wrong I was. I went home and placed a order. A few days later Tony & Meryl Edwards-Geary arrived on my drive with my new chair. After a few minutes showing me how to open and fold it (there is even a video on their website) they carried it round to its new position in the garden.
